WANTED: 389 core motor for a rebuild. He has a 65 389 that could/would be a core when he’s done. His motor starts and runs and isn’t blown up, but needs rebuilt and the owner doesn’t want his car down for that much time. He’s not that interested in right vintage motor, etc. I suggested possibly a good early 70’s, non-GM/Chevy, 350 to save on gas if he’s not needing correct size/vintage and he said that would work too.
